Butler Alfred Smith















Character: Father figure to BloodBrother Sean

Alfred Smith is the butler in this play. Ever since the death of BloodBrother Sean's parents in a car accident, he has vowed to take good care of him as his only son as a mean to pay back all the good deeds that Sean's parents have done for him. Alfred always feel obliged to perform his duties more than just a butler and to be a father figure guardian in taking good care of Sean's everyday needs in life. Alfred's only agony is to see Sean clinging on to his past after the death of his fiancee, Cassandra, as Sean refuses to move on with his life. Alfred's long cherished dream is to see Sean being able to forget Cassandra one day and learn to let her go. In the play, it may seem that only the butler, Alfred Smith, knows who Amy Henderson really is. The girl who have just walked into BloodBrother Sean's life out of the blue after a year of Cassandra's death and his abandonment of the BloodiHood Gang.
